"I write with reference to the service I have received through your agency in relation to my rehabilitation through the R.I.T.H program. The service has ceased this week, however I feel compelled to write to you and let you know how I feel. I was diagnosed with a brain injury through infection and the RITH program organised through your agency to have Dianne (not sure of surname) help me with home duties and childminding to assist in my recovery. It was appreciated immensely that I had the same person on a regular basis for both myself and my children's sake. Dianne was nothing short of fantastic! She always picked up on immediate needs without the need to be constantly directed. She was always reliable and professional, constantly thinking ahead of the needs and priorities of the children and the house. She was tireless in her energy and compassion she showed for us all. This has, I believe been a significant factor in my recovery. It gave me peace of mind to know when Dianne got here everything would be alright. I will truly miss her services but am looking forward to better days thanks in large part to her.

"My husband, Philip, has a carer, Kylie O, through your organisation.
We have been involved with Kylie for well over two years now, first through Bunurong Community Care & more recently, through Care Connect. In all that time, Kylie has been thoroughly professional & her caring of Philip goes above & beyond the call of duty. Kylie can read Philip's moods really well & will call me if she thinks that it is necessary. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her & she always has a smile on her face.
Since moving into a more involved role with Philip (some weeks Kylie has seen Philip 5 days in one week) Kylie has worked very hard to think of things that Philip would e interested in doing & on many occasions l that I am aware of, has put in longer that her paid hours. Kylie takes Philip out all the time & always leaves receipts for me. I have told her on many occasions that when she is out with Philip, he will pay for her drink but she will not hear of it & the receipt is always for only one drink. She tells me that if she was having a drink she would be paying for it herself, but as far as I can see, she is taking Philip out & I am quite happy to pay for her but she won't hear of it.
I could go on & on about how much Kylie has improved both Philip's & my life & I just wanted to pass this on as often people will be quick to complain but take longer to compliment someone on a job well done.
I just wanted you to know what a wonderful & valued job Kylie does & she is very much appreciated by my family."

Care Strategies have been providing attendant care services for clients at Bunurong Community Care for a number of years. Care Managers and administration staff at Bunurong Community Care have always provided positive feedback about the service that they have received from Care Strategies.
